Aah... When this design first came to me I thought I had it all planned out, but when I put stylus to tablet I realised I only had its sketchy essence. I knew I wanted to have a very loose, casual look that was pulled together by slight pleats and a jewelled brooch, but alas! The details! Sleeve length? width? hem? accessories?

I imagined the dress being pulled off by someone maybe tall, a little slender, with an adorably mussed head of hair that's slightly shorter than is conventional... I really like the idea of the Casadei/Trib Two heels so I incorporated a lookalike pair into the look.

Here an oval tan clutch is depicted, but in real life I think one studded with tiny tan-tinted crystals would be nice, to offset both the brooch and the plainness of the overall look. Or d'you think a plain one would be nicer? A suede clutch would be cool.

On a side note, I just got hooked to the French version of Dream a Little Dream of Me, 'Les yuex ouverts'. I'm listening to Sylvie Vartan's version, which can be found on YouTube. I don't speak the language but I find her version so wonderful, entrancing! Anybody else love this song?
